Mike Fowler

Mike is Emeritus Professor of Biochemistry and Honorary Professor of Industrial Bioscience in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology University of Sheffield, as well as serving as a Non-Executive Director of a number of small biopharma companies.
His interests and activities lie especially in drug discovery and development within the biopharma industry, where he has worked for many years in a variety of roles from Founder to CSO, CEO and Chairman.
Mike has extensive experience of intellectual property in the life science and biopharma industries and holds a number of patents in his own right.
He is also closely involved with a number of professional bodies and institutions with close interests in the development of intellectual property for the life sciences.
